August Update

Our new group of student leaders

A whole new group of student leaders! Every year I am surprised and delighted by those Jesus puts in my path. Something I have been praying over our community is Matthew 9:37-38. The harvest is plentiful, the workers are few. Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send our laborers into the harvest. I think God is doing that in Denton. There are so many people that God has brought to campus and I know he's raising up leaders to meet those people and draw him to himself

I am once again overwhelmed with God's provision as he has sent us out. With my audio immune condition, my body often shuts down when I do too much but this year I've been able to be on campus much more than I thought possible. Especially being in my third trimester of pregnancy. 

Several restaurants and businesses donated food and drink to our students and that has been a huge blessing

This year is going to bring new ministry situations and lots of opportunities to see grace extended to me and Iam excited about that. I think the Lord has been really sweet in giving me a heart for his scripture more this year and I think that will serve me well as I adjust to living life with a newborn. My prayer for you is also that he gives you a heart for his Word and writes it on your heart.
