Transitions are hard, but God is Good!

It's the end of the year again! I am so thankful for all that God has done this year. We have been able to be on campus this year without many restrictions getting in the way of meeting people. We have had 32 student leaders who have faithfully given 10-15 hours of their time every week to invest in others and to get filled up again. We consistently have 100+ students who come to our large groups and a huge turn out for our hangout events. In my personal ministry, I have gotten to study the Bible with 8 people and meet with 8 student leaders weekly to help equip them to love others better. I got to lead a small group with Hannah and Kailey and that has been so sweet. When we told the girls they were going to be in different small groups next year, they were sad and insisted that we still be friends and hangout!

One of our parents sharing how she has seen FOCUS impact her daughter Claire!

Family Night earlier this last month! It was sweet to meet people's families

I am encouraged by the faithfulness of students in this ministry. They are intentional and initiating. They look for new was to push themselves out of their comfort zone and serve Jesus and others well. It has been a sweet year of growth. I think we will see the fruit of this in years to come. The end of the year is bittersweet, I am thankful for all God has done but I am sad that people are transitioning out of college ministry. But that means that they get to invest in the church which is also good. Hopefully they are equipt to serve in the church.

I had too many photos this month! Ft. my cousin Ben getting baptized, Steven holding Ryan's broken muffler, our last big peer team, Alexis's bridal shower, Heather's birthday at core, Kailey and Hannah Weaver sharing at TNF, Reagann and Hannah Winkler at a plant shop, our Pizza theo on God and the Bod, and Taylor holding Kailey's new dog!!

I am so thankful that Drew and I get to be here and to serve these next 5 years! I think God wants us to be in Denton longer and put down our roots more. We are hoping to expand our family and get pregnant before the end of the year, God willing! Which is really exciting. I have gotten to help takeover our children's ministry at our church and hopefully set something up good for the current and future children of our church. I am excited to see how God uses us in Denton and children to continue to grow Drew and I!

You're Invited to come to my ordination ceremony in person or via zoom!
