November Update

 

It is that time of year where a lot is happening! We are finally getting to know the people in our ministry as we walk alongside them. Things are being brought into the light and it is exciting! We are gaining momentum and the Lord is bringing healing to his people. I love getting to see people buying into the kingdom and developing friendships!

As this semester goes along, I have been reflecting on how thankful I am just to be able to do ministry and get to see God working and moving in people's lives. It is so crazy and awesome to me that I get to devote myself full time to the Lord's ministry on these Denton campuses. I am thankful that I get to lead a core with Kailey and Hannah and that I get to meet with the girls that I get to meet with. I am thankful for the girls in my peer team who are faithfully loving and serving the girls in their small group. I am thankful for the time I get to spend thinking and praying about the girls with who I meet up with.

I have a handful of bible studies with girls that have been really life-giving. I enjoyed getting to hear their stories and see what God is doing in their lives. The girls range from girls who have grown up in the church to people who haven't had much exposure to the word. It is neat to hear people's questions and learn alongside them. Be praying for the girls I meet with! I would also love prayers for discernment as we start to figure out how to encourage people to grow!!

I have been trying to practice contemplative prayer lately and I think it is a neat exercise. I would encourage you to try it! It is neat to be with the Lord and just spend time with God!
