Closing one Chapter, Opening Another

This is the last month of normal ministry for this apprenticeship. I am so grateful for all that God has done to get me to this point in the year and the wonderful people I have supporting me and loving on me.

Rez Fair in Celebration of the Ressurection-
Easter was this month! We got together some of the different campus ministries together and threw a big party in celebration. We gave away food, had some games and talked to people about what Easter was. It was really neat and encouraging to get together with ministries and serve the campus together. I love that God is working on this campus and being able to hear about how he is moving in other places!

Our Last TNF-
We had our last service this month! It was bittersweet. For our announcements, I normally do themed slides that had pictures of the service and it was nice to reflect on the year. We talked about community and the value of friendship when growing in intimacy with God. I am really going to miss this group of people. I have loved getting to know them and grow together! Also we had most of our students came to our after event in the pouring rain late at night.

Spring Showcase-
We had our big fundraiser to get students to our leadership conference called SICM! It was really successful and a lot of fun. We had performances and an art sale. I loved getting to see people from all over come to support our next generation of leaders and their development.
I didn't get a good picture of the show but I did get a picture of some of the snacks

Transitions-
My one on ones are coming to a close and I am getting a bit sad about leaving. I know that relationships have to change with time but I just love the people I get to meet with. I have loved getting to work at UTD this year and have really enjoyed building friendships this year and growing together. I know that this transition is going to be a good one but it is hard to see a vision of what this next year is going to look like.
Trying to remind myself of truth in preparation!
